The Visalia Vapor Trailers’ annual Member-Guest Hot Rod Poker Run and Picnic brought together car enthusiasts, friends, and family for a day filled with classic rides, great food, and plenty of fun.
The day kicked off with the always-popular Poker Run, a tradition that gets everyone’s engines revving early. This year’s route was kept short so participants could return in time for the picnic lunch and the much-anticipated raffle drawing. Along the way, drivers and passengers enjoyed a relaxed cruise through local roads, showing off a colorful lineup of hot rods, customs, and classic cars.
Once back at the picnic grounds, attendees gathered for a delicious lunch and a lively social atmosphere. The raffle featured a wide variety of donated prizes, generously contributed by members and local supporters. Laughter, conversation, and the smell of good food filled the air as friends old and new shared stories about their cars and adventures on the road.
From gleaming chrome to the roar of engines, the event perfectly captured what the Visalia Vapor Trailers are all about — community, family, camaraderie, and a shared passion for the open road. With great weather, great people, and great cars, this year’s annual Poker Run and Member-Guest Picnic was another memorable chapter in the club’s proud tradition.

A short Poker Run was a good idea so that those participating in the Poker Run got back early and got to enjoy the picnic and company.
